I know a guy that is a test engineer for CIH. Last year he was recomending putting the auger extensions on & trying that before going to the expense of putting in a new f.f. auger. We bought a set of extensions for our 30' 1020 but never got them on but plan to have them on before start of harvest this year. A set of extensions was around $125 as I recall. They are suppose to force the crop more towards the center of the feederhouse allowing it to feed in better.
