I don't understand how a repeater costs over $10,000. I estimate with the repeater bundle and antenna you're looking at most between $2,500 and $3,000. I would say the repeater would be the way to go. I've put several up on coop elevators and have gotten great results from this. Converting to 450 is a hassle and will cost you more money.
