Von WC Ohio - 4/16/2013 10:29 Btw what program are you using to capture screen images they look very sharp. I had not installed anything so resorted to taking pictures of the monitor and using those until I got through this process. I missed this the first time. All I do is hit the "PrtSC" button on my keyboard. This copies what you see on your screen to your clip board. My favorite image editing program is Paint.NET. It's free, it's not as complicated as GIMP (which is a free alternative that tries to compete with the full blown Photoshop program), it's relatively lightweight and I can do the limited editing I need to do with it easily. So I open Paint.NET and paste the contents of the clip board in there. Then I crop and re-size the image in Paint.NET so that it will be viewable on NAT for those who have a lower resolution screen than I have. Finally, upload it. The reason the first two images were harder to see than the others is that my screen resolution was set quite high before I went in to safe mode so when I re-sized the picture down to what is viewable on NAT easily, a lot of the detail was lost. In contrast, when I was in safe mode the video card drivers do not load so the screen resolution is something like 800 x 600. I didn't have to resize those images at all so they looked pretty clear on NAT. To make it better on the first two images I probably should have adjusted my screen resolution down before hitting the "PrtSc" button. |
