Anderson County Kansas
No there hasn't been since I bought the place. My tenant and I was laughing about what a waste of money it was when the were doing it. They paid 1500 per acre for the easement, then spent 40 k to plug the tile and build some dikes, then they also paid for seeding the grass. I bought the 400 acres that joins this 240 also and gave 600 an acre for it, one year after they bought the easement on the WRP. I bet there won't be water in it one month a year on average, the government at its finest. It will make a good place to hunt pheasant however, and thats mainly what I'm worried about.
