Success !! That worked like a charm. Did not need to go into safe mode either. 1st pic is what I had for C:& D: drives. D: drive showed 100% free 2nd pic Stepped through and deleted D: partition which allowed it to show up as unallocated space. 3rd pic
Increased size of C: partition to the maximum allowable size available. After system restart everything appears to be in place and working correctly. 4th pic This was how new machine was configured from Dell. This new 2nd drive should not be encrypted or handicapped from cloning as it does not have the recovery partition. Third new Seagate hard drive is on it's way here. I will re-install Acronis Cloning software to 2nd drive and attempt to clone 3rd drive from 2nd one. I will be sure to post a follow up to let you know how that process went. Thanks again for all of your excellent help and tutorials and taking so much time to educate my understanding of all of this. Btw what program are you using to capture screen images they look very sharp. I had not installed anything so resorted to taking pictures of the monitor and using those until I got through this process.
