Marianna Arkansas
Here the wrp rate on irrigated ground is 2,700, don't know about the non irrigated. One thing I don't like is our duck club is beside about 3,000 acres of it. Our club is in it too. Anyway the problem is we are green timber and the other wrp is potholes that hold 10-15 ducks each and they just get in those and set. Another thing is that on the open fields we had we didn't put in large enough food plots when we enrolled so now we are sol on that. Also look into the green tree program if you are going to be planting any trees. There is or was another conversation program that gave a ton of tax credit when you signed up for it but don't know if its still going.
A lot of high dollar duck clubs in this area paid for by wrp.
