ND | I would ensure that you don't need the pro600 to run the planter before getting rid of it. I know on the newer planters you need a pro600/700 to operate the planter, no other display can (proprietary equipment).
From the owners manual of a 1250 front fold planter:
The Advanced Farming System (AFS) Pro 600/700 or Early Riser IV system with marker controller (if equipped), controls and monitors seed population and spacing as well as marker extend/retract and liquid fertilizer application (if equipped). Ground speed, individual row unit seed delivery, vacuum level and seed hopper level are also AFS monitored. | |
