Subject: Soil Test

I had someone recommend a PT2 test for the soil to show what nutrients are there from Midwest Labs they called it a total soil report on the sheet I received from them. My understanding it is a strong acid they use for plant tissue test but can be used on soil to show what is there but most of it is not available do to poor soil health or biological activity or what every you want to call it. I think this is were cover crops come in to help make all this available and what they were talking about at David Brandts last Wednesday. This is a 6 3/4 inch sample on some ground that has never had manure. This is some of my lower yielding soil.
