Update

Well after about 7 hours now the ISO download completed. I saved to folder on hard drive of this XP computer. Burned to DVD at slowest speed and also copied to a USB flash drive.

Took out original hard drive of new computer put in second blank drive and attempted to start hitting F12. Can't load the ISO file as now I get

"BOOTMGR is missing
Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart"

About ready to put an axe through new computer and continue on with XP indefinitely.
