You have the HD pulled, you should be able to put it in another computer as a D drive and then just copy it to another HD.  I have not tried with WIN7 but have done it many times with XP. I have had a almost full HD and slaved it in as a D drive and then put another HD in the system as an E and formatted to the same file type and then just copy D to E.  E can be the same or larger drive and will go in the machine and boot just like the old drive with all current drivers of the system you copy.
