| A service tag does not provide any personal information unless you own the device and you give the service tag to a Dell support person and he verifies your account information, etc etc.
I say this because if you're willing, I'd like you to send your service tag to me via email so I can look at the drivers they have available. If you're not it's no big deal, I'm just curious. My Dell finally gave up a few months ago and I replaced it with a Lenovo T430 so I'm not all that current on how Dell is working their drivers site. | |
