Does anybody use kelp or fish fert. in furrow on their corn ?

I thought I heard it mention someplace that corn would need 50 to 60 gal/a of fish to grow a crop.  The fish would replace the nitrogen source. You would probably need to band it with the planter and or cultivator.

We put 6 gal in furrow at planting for beans. Then put on about 3 to 4 gal/a per foliar application.
