| That being said, I'm going to throw a scenario at you.
Let's say you get another once in a lifetime picture and you store it on the hard drive of the new Dell machine after you finish with all of this. Are you going to clone the entire hard drive again at that point or is your only goal to make it so you don't have to re-install Windows?
I thinking cloning is handy although it may not do you much good in terms of data backup if you do like what you say you've been doing which is just leaving the spare hard drive for the XP machine in storage until there is a problem with the current drive. | |
