Good grief. That can apply to ANY pesticide - GMO crop use or otherwise. There is nothing inherently worse about Roundup than any other pesticide...


Is this the case for the severe anti GMO people? You don't have to drink 26 gallons of hog manure to get enough of it in your system to make you sick or kill you, do you?


Nope - hence the point: manure is hundreds (maybe thousands) of times more toxic than glyphosate. Maybe we should ban it??



...Then I inherited all of these resistant weeds that are hard to kill.


There was an excellent point brought up earlier in this thread - how are they harder to kill for someone who doesn't use Roundup?

How does the whole system gain anything for me?

Is it really helping mankind?

Yes. Pesticides - used properly - are helping mankind by allowing us to produce a cheaper, safer, more abundant food supply. Tough to have a decent standard of living if you're paying 30+% of your income on food.
