lack of data for the claim that gmo does nothing for him.

A seed research plot replicated with the best gmo and non-gmo products would provide the proof that gmo's don't increase profitability. Ed might be right but the data is lacking. If ed had data that say a new gmo variety of corn outperformed a non gmo variety by a significant amount, that might change his view. Without data its an opinion.

By the way, roundup in a roundup ready canola-wheat rotation to clean up canola is a god-send. When it is suggested that roundup is useless because it alone cannot kill every weed in corn and soybean this use is ignored.
