To clarify. In RR crops the site of action for glyphosate is altered which renders it ineffective. Glyphosate is then either broken down into AMPA (primary metabolite) or is not broken down and then distributed to the "sinks" (roots, apical meristems, seeds). Most is eventually broken down to AMPA. Depending on when the RR was sprayed is how much actual glyphosate is transferred to the seed, and this has been found in lab studies. Glyphosate is relatively unabsorbed by mammals and most is passed through the digestive system, which is why (probably) that it was found in the manure. The LD 50 for glyphosate is set to greater than 5000, not 50. 50 is about what gramoxone is (if I remember correctly).
