I would be lying if I told you that I had no regrets. But the change has brought new opportunities that I could not enjoy when my farm owned me 24-7-365. It didn't have to but I chose to isolate my farm interests from the rest of life. Health problems required I make changes so I really had few choices.
Enjoy, for every sentimental moment about the farm that you have given up, you will be able create new ones to fill your life.
