Put the starter on first. Have been doing this for several years. Have 15' Sunflower we use .
Try to run with the harrow attachment on helps to move a little dirt and trash to help cover th fert. and
seed. Some guys in our area are waiting till spring to put all the FERT. seem to work. This year with
current pricing they're wishing they had put on starter last fall!!
