Indiana | For me to help it would be nice to know what state you are in, second just went through cleaning up my inlaws estate and have learned several things, credit card companys do not care about you or your wife! if the cards are in your name only- she has nothing to worry about (attorney will take care of them) thirdly make sure you have a will and someone that you can trust to give power of attorney to, if you decide not sell off things your wife will have to hire someone to help her to do it, (me I would take care of it myself if possible), inheritance tax will kick in if over 100,000 dollars (in Indiana) not sure about your state and life insurance does not effect that just total worth of assests | |
