southern MN | One of the marketing gurus was speaking theother day, & he seemed kinda irate at the Secrataty of Ag, that there is no plan in place. If there is some crop failure in a widespeard area, we could end up kinda short on food. The govt has not looked to deal with this situation.
Seems a little bit of what you are saying - the safety net is slipping away, and no one is looking at adjusting the net.
A slower, even market rise is cool, but we are at pretty high crop price levels as it is - a panic would be a bad thing.
