NE SD | I run mostly deere and have a deere 1760 12 row. Its 80% green planters here and I would say most all over from what I see anyway. When deere came out with the 7000 series planters yes they had the best planter on the market hands down. It is simply not like that anymore with there planters and many other implements by deere. but people continue to buy them because that is what they are familiar with and all there nieghbors have them. I am no different and I will probably end up with a deere planter next time also but I will look really really hard at a red one also. Have one nieghbor friend with a 2 yr old 16 row 1790 deere and he does not like it at all and will own a red one next yr. Everything I hear about the red planters is they are awesome planters but most are just not used to them.
