Ellsworth IL | If you're lifting the bags from the top by yourself with a loader , the easiest way I've seen to pick them up is with a couple of steel bars through the ears and chained to the loader forks. Just pull up over the bag, lower the loader enough to chain the bars and go.
From the bottom, a pallet with a hole cut in the center works well, you just need a rudimentary framework to hold the bag up when emptying. Ofcourse there's the problem of getting the bag on the pallet(s) with the holes but your seed dealer should be happy to use his forklift to put them on for you if you take the pallets to him. | |
