have two krone rotary rakes. love them. have run together in same field with other makes of rotary rakes and observed that the krones had more bars on the rotars therefore could run them at a much slower rpm and do a very nice job of moving a conditioned swath. we have models that move two 16 ft windrows together to the middle. because of slower rpm they are very delicate on crop. however we rake at 5 am to 9am to get very little leaf loss. oldest rake has done approx 12000 acres and has worked excellent as far as rotors are concerned. no big problems. had to rebuild the axle pivot bearings once and make sure to keep them tight. excellent machinery. also have two 4x4 balers from krone. company has been very good about service on balers. cannot speak negatively on krone equipment. when reproccessing rounds into squares these balers will build a 2000 lb bale.
