Memphis, TN | Chris, You are correct, the SW810 is a side delivery rake that will make 2 single windrows or combine them together into a single windrow. Being a side delivery you can double back on same windrow. It is a vertical fold model. The wheels steer with the hitch making it very maneuverable.
The rotor speed usually determines how gently it handles the crop. It is usually not necessary to run it at 540.
The SW810 has been a very good model for us.
I think a rotary rake is a very effective way to improve hay quality, but my opinion is biased since we only make rotary rakes.
