In the 1st pic the drifts are 4 to 5 feet deep and in the second pic by the power pole it is about 5 foot deep. We have about 12" of snow on the level but drifts that are 5 to 6 feet deep. As I type this they are down the road with the grader which has a front blade trying to bust through a 1/4 mile that is the 5 to 6 foot drifts and they have been there for about 30 min. Last time we had drifting snow like this was the winter of 92-93, some years we won't even need to plow snow and we pay for those years with a short irrigation supply.
