I'm not sure Dave. I would think the effects on the IR sensors would be the same, but it would also matter whether or not the sensor "protruded" into the hose or not. I do know the "wire-through" sensors can be an issue when the intended use is fertilizer because of clumps and other objects. All of the requirements are going to dpend on what your intentions are as far as application. If you're going to be applying 400lbs of product and trying to run 9 mph you're obviously going to need a lot more flow capability than if you're applying 250lbs at 5 mph. |
