Amherst WI | Co-Ops are dinosaurs, they are worried about profit even worse than the independents. When I worked for FS the salseman were only worried about selling the products that had the best incentives to them. I know one of the sales guys were just a few thousand dollars short of winning a trip to some place warm in January. He found a customer and convinced hm that his clean field needed to be sprayed so he would win the trip. The biggest problem with most Co-Ops is nobody is in charge because it is not their money. Notice how many mergers happen in the Co-Op system? There is a reason for that. | |
