Subject: Re: Fuel storage requirements.......

North Central Kansas
Last fall I was moving my tanks around because I had built another shed. I called my fuel supplier and asked what my options were. He said I did not have to do anything besides submitting a plan, because I was not close enough to a stream. I guess I better call him and figure out what I need to do. They had a meeting on the rules but it was during the day while I was at work.

I have three tanks. 1000 gallon farm diesel, 500 gallon road diesel and a 500 gallon gas barrel. I don't use that much gas but I had the barrel and pump so that is what I have. The other two tanks I need. When I moved my tank I poured a pad to set them on. It is big enough that I can block up a wall if I need to. I guess I better practice up my block laying skills.

I was thinking about putting a lean too roof on it to keep the rain out if I do put up a containment.
