I just got a letter from Texas DPS and they said that if they did not have a copy of the medical card on file in Austin by Jan 1, 2014, they would downgrade the CDL to just an operators license and I would have to take all the tests and the driving test to get it back. Got to checking and I can renew with a Class A-non CDL and still haul over 26,000 farm related products and equipment and a large motorhome.
