All this overweight dumpy little leprachaun has ever done is to increase the deficit in every position he ever held. From finance minister of Ontario to finance minister of Canada he has lacked the monetary skills of your typical three year old.
What you are reading is some verbiage that has been triple censored to make sure it doesn't mean what you think it does.
The reason that Flaherty remains in his position though his incompetence is visible everywhere is that he is beholden to the Toronto Empire Club, a fine old gentlemen's club the likes of which hasn't been seen in the US since the days when Jay Hill was establishing the Great Northern, Carnegie constructing the Steel Trust or Rockefeller the Oil Trust.
He is their tool inside the workings of Government.
Don't necessarily believe him, but, if at high noon the biggest liar in town tells us the sun is shining outside, for once he is probably telling the truth!
