Friend of mine goes by the name of "Tuck". Its what his parents, entire family, friends, everybody in the neighborhood, and his teachers in country school called him. That was all fine and dandy until he went to town school in about third grade and the teacher was calling roll on the first day. When she called for "Darwin" nobody answered. Finally one of his friends nudged him and said "hey dummy, that's you". He insists he honestly did not know his name was Darwin. | |
