John - That article pretty much tells the story. I didn't ever think that deposits would be listed as a banks liability but the cats out of the bag now I think! Thanks for posting that and thanks to all the other posters for educating us on this important issue. It is obviously not going to be pretty but if we have this knowledge ahead of time maybe we can prepare ourselveles a little bit before it hits the fan. Bob
