I don't know if they modified them or not, I had the same thought. They were filling up the combines and the trucks. Stalks looked completely stripped of pods. They are real believers of leaving as much residue as possible standing for shade and ease of seeding next season. They have been stripping their wheat for years this was the first year they stripped canola.
