NE Indiana | I'm pretty sure Indiana Code says the county surveyor is required to approve any connections to a county drain.
It's a good idea. I have a farm in the middle of a county drain where the rules weren't followed and there is way too much water coming in at the top for what the ditch will handle. Leaving those of us in the middle flooded and those at the top and bottom unwilling to pay for a huge reconstruction that wouldn't make any difference to them. | |
