Nunn CO
Dschill, We grow a really really lot of proso. I will also attach a helpful beginning link for you. I'm not sure how in depth you want me to go but the first few things that come to mind are seed less 1", DONT over pack, and if it rains right after and crusts just go right back and re seed. Millet will fail with the slightest crust. I usually go out to a field and toss a handful of millet out, as soon as it sprouts and is up I go out and seed. You need 60 degree dirt temp for a good stand. Also narrow spacing helps 7.5" ish http://www.ianrpubs.unl.edu/epublic/live/ec137/build/ec137.pdf

If you want any other tips or thoughts send me a email through our oats page in my signature.
