Seems to me your daughter will be spending a good share of her first 18 ( or 20, or 24 ) years in school. A day missed now and then for something like that won't make any difference in her academic ed. in my opinion. You are making memories that will last, and like others said- there is more to ed. than book learning, although that's important too.
