Mascoutah, Illinois | A much different demographic in my immediate area. Many are at retirement age or past it and are phasing in a family member if they still have one who wants to farm. There are some young tigers out there, but they are still under daddy's wing playing with a checkbook flush with cash. You have to realize these guys went through the good times of the 70's and the difficult times of the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's. They know how to make a dollar go further and have learned great money management.
