NE Iowa | Are you wanting to broadcast dry, foliar liquid, or in-furrow? My local fertilizer dealer handles micros from Tetramicro:
http://www.tetramicro.com/page/1002/specs/and/msds.html?inet=aD1mY3...
Zinc Sulfate (36% Zn) is around $37 per 50# bag
Manganese Sulfate (32% Mn) is around $42 per 50# bag
Liquid 20% ammionated Zinc is around $15 per gallon
10% dry Boron is around $19 per 50# bag and should be broadcast and never put in-furrow.
There are many ways to get S and these are my local options:
The price of 90% elemental S is attractive at about $580 per ton (about $0.30 per pound of S) but takes a long time to become available. Fertilizer grade AMS (21-0-0-24) is pricey ($425/ton) but if you subtract off the value of the N based on price of urea it gets the S down to $0.38 a pound. Pelletized gypsum (18% S) can be mixed with other dry fertilizer but is pricey at $180 a ton ($0.50 per pound of S). Gypsoil brand gypsum has to brought in on a barge and is $65 a ton but would need to be custom spread with lime equipment and they want to apply high rates (1000#+) | |
