Dalton, OH | Here are some pics of our new 16 row JD planter after 6 weeks in our shop. We are mostly no-till and run in many different types of ground. We will be putting 2 types of fertilizer on. 28% with JD openers and that will go in the JD 600 gallon tank along with a 1000 gallon cart(not shown). The other will be a 5-15-15 micro mix in the 300 gallon planter tank along with the front tractor tank and will go on with the Keetons. All fertilizer is auto swathed and rate controlled by an Insight. The planter is also outfitted with most of the Precision Planting stuff as well as the 20/20 and Fieldview. We make most of the wire harnesses ourselves. I have to give my mechanic credit as its an extremely professional job. It looks like it could have come off the assembly line.
