what good is 110vac if you don't also have with the tractor all the power tools? And why begin to work tearing down something with power tools without some new parts or a way to get the new parts to replace? The service truck is a necessity and where you need the 110vac along with the power tools, not carrying it all on the tractor.

You can recharge cell phone batteries off the 12vdc., and can purchase an inverter from Radio Shack if you want 110vac for low current draw items.

110vac generator and associated wiring and fusing on a tractor would just even more complicate an already too much electrically complicated tractor. And then the question is how big a gen? 5kw? 10kw? 20kw?---naaah, just forget it on the tractor. Keep it on the service truck along with all the power tools, air compressor, air tools,AC/DC welder, service parts, fluids, etc.

And yes, I buy new, but keep my old to stand in when the new goes down. I'm keeping my 4840, 4440, 70 till I die, and would order a new 4440 tomorrow if it were avail.

Also the old is paid for.
