| I will be the first farmer in line to explain a few simple changes that provide a fix to a whole bunch of problems with crop insurance BUT. It irks the crap out of me when big insurance companies have been making billions off crop insurance for years, and now its the farmers fault that the government has to pick up a big loss. I would have been way ahead over the years if I'd been selling it as apposed to farming. Its more than a little disappointing to hear farmers trashed on capital hill for following a program that was put in place by the government itself. | |
