pbutler - 3/25/2013 06:15 Hate to say it but where you gonna find an all American made tractor?.....kind of sad agree.
And how much more would you be willing to pay for something that has every component made in USA/Canada?

I wouldn't pay any more.  Quality coming out of US factories is low. China can make a better product when spec'd for quality with good QC in place. American workers are too expensive and lazy. Cuts into the fund for good QC.

As Daimler. Their problem trucks come from the UAW plant  in the US. Their good trucks come from Mexico. In Mexico if a worker does a poor job or is lazy he/she gets fired and a new one is there in 5 minutes. In the US they are protected and don't care if they loose their job because they can then get plenty of money for doing nothing. i will not get into a political debate or union debate, this is the way I see it and my viewpoint is shaped by many key peoples responses to why they make things they way they do.

I proudly spend more for things made in Germany every day, the difference is the quality and innovation are both above and beyond anything America could produce.

The Japanese are the same way, no union. You are lazy, or have too many quality issues, you are gone!!

I love my GMC Sierras, that will never change. But if the VW Amarok rumour (coming to Canada) holds true, I would get a diesel one.
