durallymax, is simplifying things always better? there will be problems with electric also ya know. if you think about it, there are more problems with equipment now than there were years back. all this new equipment just isnt working so great as everybody thought. think back a long time ago back in day when there was just the new powershift tractor coming out. were there ever any major wiring problems that the farmer couldnt figure out himself? around here all the tractors in the 1980/1990 to 2004 were all able to be farmer fixed.


Everyone in this thread wants simple. You are saying old equipment is simpler so yes simpler is better evidently.

Electric drive is older than the powershift. LeTourneau started using it over 50 years ago.
