This would only work if all the companies did it at once, But Get rid of the GIANT tractors and combines. If they would all do that the big guys would be forced to buy more machines and they could lower the price. It would get rid of the flood of giant used equipment. The guys that can justify that size of equipment want new and its too big for anyone else. If they downsized everything there would at least be a market for the used stuff and they would probly sell more new if the size and price was reduced.


Let's be realistic. They make big equipment because it sells. They build what the market wants, not "forcing" people to buy what you think is best. As a farmer, you produce what the market wants, right? As far as the used equipment, they (the factories) are in business to sell new equipment, not used stuff.
