If it was me, I don't know if I'd say anything.  I've felt for years that if I ever met an ag engineer from any company I'd slap the sob.

Maybe you can find a way to convey to them that it needs to be simpler and cheaper.  As it is now it's too complicated, too hard to work on, and too expensive.
