Subject: Re: Question for Ed Winkle

Clearville, Pa.
Last fall TSC put there high cal pell lime on sale for a good price so I bought 420 bags, not ideal but I have problem areas to get into with small tractor and 3pt spreader. Now I have found out that friend has bought his own lime spreader and he said I could use it. The county here has a good rental program for lime spreaders but getting when you need is a problem. I need to load light an make a lot of trips to get thur wet areas. This Berks shale ground that I farm go from a swamp to being able to drive any place in a two week period, but when is that two week period going to be is the question, areas are not big just a pain .So many of the materials you can get are not avilable here or I am not asking the right questions.I can get the hi mag pell lime at Bakers in York,Pa for $69/ton but I really need the hi cal.
