They need to acknowledge that the role of the tractor has changed. Today, it still needs to pull, but it also needs to carry seed and fertilizer.

I think they need to build an articulated 4wd with a long back frame capable of carrying 300 bushels or an equivalent amount of liquid. Add rails and latches to attach the bins/tanks in a secure manner. Carts need to disappear, IMO.

Build a dedicated planter/air seeder tractor, in other words. I would expect anyone who no longer tills would be interested.
