Shelby, MT
I am not advocating any gov bailout I was just stating history past and recent. From the looks of it congress hasn't even figured out if the country has a debt problem yet(both parties). So from the present standpoint there are absolutely no indications the gov is or will operate differently than it currently is. So the direct payments, sure, crop etc will show up and if someone squeals to their senator or rep during an election cycle the congress person will "compromise"(you give me this, I will give you that) and bring home the cash. The public only gets upset after the explosion never before. So the money will be spent before Joe blow finds out. When the next iPhone or NFL game is is all Joe blow cares about unless the news media tells them about what happened.

We shouldn't assume that what is right will be what unfolds.
