| Yes, really. Don't you think the 4x less psi on the rubber track vs the wheeled tractor would affect the drawbar hp when tested on a CONCRETE TRACK more than anything? Change that "exact same condition" to another condition other that a concrete track and see what the drawbar HP differences are.
The parasitic loss of turning the track is more than turning a wheel, but efficiency gains are made up by spinninng it with 1/5th the slip in real world conditions. | |
