Pittsburg, Kansas

I would not listen to any recommendations from this discussion forum. It is for discussion. It is to bounce around ideas.

You have to decide for yourself what is prudent for your own situation.

From a discussion standpoint, I am not worried about money in US banks currently. If things continue on in the direction they are going, some day I might be.

From a philosophical standpoint, the current system we use is inherently unstable (in my opinion) and works what seems really well during the boom portion of the cycle, but sucks when the bust inevitably comes. But that idea does nothing to help with the current situation we are in but rather is just a discussion point in case some time in the future we are faced with an opportunity or are forced into a situation where the system changes, we are able through better knowledge to choose a better system to avoid these problems, best we can, in the future.

John
